Project Summary
One of the challenges for many non-profit organizers is how to lower costs and keep volunteers engaged and motivated. When I took the Webmaster role at District 1 Toastmasters, my vision was to update the website with a better UI (User Interface) and set up as many non-profit accounts as possible. I set up G Suite and PayPal accounts as non-profit organizations, which helped them save a lot of money.
I also developed three plugins so that they can have a smooth transition at the annual changing of leadership. Before, it took days to see the new board members and district alignment, but now they can enter the information any time they want, and when the new term comes, the information is switched automatically.
I also created a scheduled monthly marketing overview report for SEO so that the PR team can review their current status and areas to improve.
